LSI’s mission is to help our clients solve their most complex business, economic, and social challenges.  We provide business development, economic development, and social impact contract support for our clients. LSI’s clientele include federal, state, and local entities and their contractors.  To meet our ongoing corporate growth strategy, we are hiring 1099 Capture Managers to join our Business Development Team.  Ability to work Remote.

Job Responsibilities:

The Capture Manager is accountable for identification and qualification of opportunities. This may include leading capture and proposal activities, and arranging/coordinating opportunities in a highly dynamic, deadline intensive environment.  Responsibilities include:

  • Developing Capture Strategies and Capture Plans
  • Development and implementation of an integrated action/call plan
  • Pursuit planning and ensuring activities are accurately reflected in the pipeline management system
  • Drafting proposal responses or working with the proposal team to develop winning proposals
  • Determining competitive pricing
  • Coordinating with Subject Matter Experts to develop capture/proposal strategies and technical content
  • Win theme definition, proposal strategy development to deliver status/updates at periodic reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline
  • 5 years of Capture Experience or two years as an executive at Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of State (DOS), Department of Labor (DOL), or Homeland Security (DHS)
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • General familiarity with GovWin, BETA SAM, and the FAR
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to step out of comfort zone to pursue opportunities
  • Ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders in a professional and collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Intermediate/advanced use of MS Office Suite and Teams
  • Strong Presentation skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • DOD or Federal Agency contract vehicle experience and expertise
  • Technical writing experience
  • Knowledge of the government procurement process
